cxref-emacs software package provides Generates LaTeX and HTML documentation for C programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cxref-emacs
cxref-emacs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cxref-emacs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cxref-emacs *
You will get with cxref-emacs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
